Vice President studied soybean cultivation in ND

    On August 22, Bill Ji, vice president of BOHC, visited Fargo with the group of China-Fargo IP Soybean Reserve Trade Mission, learned soybean cultivation situation as well as communicated with local soybean enterprises.  The purpose of this visit is to learn non-GMO soybean cultivation, purchase condition, communicate with local enterprises, and visit soybean farmland and factories.
During the visit, Mr Ji attended the conference held by NDTO, NCI, and NDSC, heard the introduction about local soybean qualities, soybean futures market, and contract orders of soybean planting.
In the communication with ND soybean enterprises, both sides had deep understanding and extensive exchanges on the questions of common interests.  BOHC and local enterprises made preliminary consensus, and agreed to make further communication and prepare for cooperation on non-GMO soybean import and export businesses in the no far future.  
Bill Ji also visited local soybean farmland and agricultural equipment factories.  On the farmland, he listened to the introduction about seed breeding, planting, processing, transport of non-GMO soybean, learned soybean processing, and observed differences types of soybeans as well as growth situation of non-GMO soybean.  In the factories, he viewed the agricultural equipment made for soybean planting, and listened to the introduction about equipment usage.
